What is the fastest empty space disk wiper?

Hey guys,

The current empty space disk wiper program that I am using (eraser) is just to slow. The last time I ran it, took around two days to complete. I am looking for a faster program and also one that is preferably free or at a low to minimal cost.

Hello Tony

I know that Eraser is very slow, and it takes quite a lot of time until it deletes files.

It also depends on the capacity of your Hard Disk Drive. However 2 days, is just not worth it.

A better software for your needs, is CCleaner, a very useful file shredder that cleans data left behind by web browsers, windows explorer, temporary files, and other applications. It is also easy to use.

A second software that might help you, is Disk Redactor.

Even easier to use, and if you do not want the free version, you can upgrade it at low cost.
