Hello,

I am using Windows XP OS and recently, I got the following internal error message. It says that FrameMaker has detected a serious problem and must quit. I don’t know how to fix it. Can anyone has an idea to resolve this problem? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there Donald T Mercurio,

The very first thing you should do is to update both, your system and the software that is causing the problem. Several fixes were released on the Adobe website and you should apply those fixes as it will most likely instantly solve your problems.

Another thing to do is to check what is written in the created error log. Open the file mentioned in the error ( c:program filesadobeframemaker7.0Framelog_06.03.08_12.35.05.txt) and read it. It will give you a hint which part of the software or the action is responsible for the crash and once you find that out, simply turn that option off.

Best regards,
Drake Vivian
