Hello all,

When I try to update the Dreamweaver in the laptop, I ended up with an error message. I am not technically strong person so really having a tough time to handle this error. I am not getting any help from this error message. Do I need to reinstall the whole thing? I tried to trap the error, but I cannot. Help please. Thanks in advance.

SVN: #155021. Your cannot update this file using Dreamweaver’s Subversion integration because a newer Subversion client application on your machine has made updates to the file’s Subversion meta data. For more information on this issue, see http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/838/cpsid_83857.html.

In order to fix this issue, you have to run “conversion script” extension for Dreamweaver.

  1. Exit Dreamweaver.
  2. Download this extension.
  3. Launch “Adobe Extension Manager CS4”.
Note that if you’re using Windows Vista/7 or later version of Windows, the program must be run by right-clicking on the shortcut and selecting “Run as administrator”.
  4. Hit “Install”.
  5. Browse for the extension you downloaded. After selecting, press “Open”.
  6. Exit “Adobe Extension Manager CS4”.
  7. Start Dreamweaver.
  8. Go to Commands >> Subversion Compatibility.
  9. Press “OK” to convert your site.
  10. Refresh your site.

Now, your error should disappear forever.
