Unable to undock/unpin a tab and or merge tabs in IE 10

I used to be able to undock/unpin a tab and open it on a separate window when I was viewing multiple tabs in Internet Explorer 10. If I had separate windows, I used to be able to merge them as well. I tried resetting IE and it didn't worm. Any ideas how I can get the tabs to work the same way it did before?

Hello,

First, let’s see if an add-on is the cause of this particular problem.

  • Right click on the IE icon on your computer and select ‘Start without add-ons’. Start IE now.
  • Another way to do step one would be: Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Internet Explorer (No add-ons)

Check if the problem goes away, if it does, then some add-on you had installed recently was causing it.
