Unable to install a plugin with Excel

Hello,

MS Excel comes with the ability of working with various add-ons, making any task to its user easier through those add-ons. But sometimes they don’t function properly and this one is not different than that. The add-on was disabled and so you’re unable to use it in future.

First, remove the add-on. To do this,

  1. Open Excel.
  2. Go to “File” tab >> Options.
  3. Select “Add-Ins” from the left pane.
  4. In the “Manage” box, choose “Excel Add-ins” >> click “Go”.
  5. Find out the problematic add-in, select it and press “Remove”.

If you were a hardcore user of the add-in, you have to get the latest one that doesn’t make such issue. After you’ve removed the add-in, you can install PowerPivot again from this page. Download and install it again.

No more problem for sure.
