Hello all,

I am an active subscriber of MSDN for last two years and my relationship with MSDN was very fine. Now for around three days, I am unable to download software from MSDN. Every time I try to download something, the file transfer manager, after completing some percentage of the file, got interrupted due to this error.

I tried many ways to download, different files, different times, etc. but the thing changes is the percentage of file download completion after which this error appears.

There is not problem with my subscription status and it active.

My system is running Microsoft Windows XP with SP 3.

Screenshot of the error is given below

msdn error

Error

An unexpected error occurred – code = 12037

Action OK will be taken when time expires

Anticipatory thanks for the help.

Hi there,

This error you are having is with MSDN. It may be that they are doing some maintenance or having some trouble and trying to fix the issue at hand. If you want to make sure, you can try contacting MSDN and question them if some kind of maintenance work or the service itself is down at the moment. Considering how you tried to use different software to download the file, this is most likely the case. You can also try downloading other files, if it still doesn't work, it surely means that MSDN's service is currently down and all you can do is try to confirm the situation with MSDN and wait for them to fix it.
