Hello there! I would like to know some fast and easy steps you recommend to transfer the PT8 Software to a new computer.  I have Digi003 PT7 and upgraded to PT8 by downloading it from the internet. But the problem is, I can’t figure it out now HOW I will transfer the software program to my new compute.  Your help please! Thank you.

Hello Aubri,
To transfer the PT8 Software to a new computer, I will suggest that you try out the following procedures:

First, I will suggest that you burn the v8 installer to a DVD or CD and then use it.

Or alternatively, I will suggest that you transfer the file over Ethernet, and that is in case you set up a small local area network.

You can also try starting on of the computers in the fire wire target mode and thereafter connect them with a fw cable, but in this case no not install PT7 first until you are done with the process.
Another thing that you may also consider doing is saving the installer, and also the pesky authorization code, all of them to a hard disk or flash drive while you are working on them just to have a backup.
