Hello,

This morning I tried to run Visual Studio but suddenly this error popped-up. The software worked fine yesterday and I am a little bit angry to this error. I reinstalled the Visual Studio and worked just fine until I rebooted my laptop. Does anyone have any idea how this error can be solved ? Please help !

Thank you !

Since you are running Microsoft Visual Studio that supports Microsoft Windows 8, make sure you meet all the requirements. Microsoft Visual Studio requires installing several other software to make it work properly and for all the features to be functional. Because you already reinstalled Microsoft Visual Studio, it seems like the issue now is with the Team Foundation Server component.

If you previously used Microsoft Visual Studio without having any problems on Team Foundation Server, maybe it is only a temporary problem. Close Microsoft Visual Studio and restart your computer. Start Microsoft Visual Studio again and login to your account. See if Team Foundation Server will throw an error. If not then you are good to go.

But if there is still a problem, check if you are using the correct login credentials to login to the Team Foundation Server. If you verify that it is correct, try running Microsoft Visual Studio as administrator. Right-click on Microsoft Visual Studio on your desktop and then select Properties. Select Compatibility tab and check “Run this program as an administrator” located at the bottom and then click OK.

Try it again and see if it works. You may also try reinstalling Team Foundation Server.
