Tell me the process to stop led light in blackberry.

I put a password on my BlackBerry device when I purchased it. And now, I want to turn the password off but I have tried all the possible ways to do it, but I am still unable to turn it off. I searched on the General Settings but I could not find any option to disable my password. The Enable option has a small red padlock icon beside it and it appears that it was locked or something. How can I unlock it? Or disable my password?

If you want to turn off the security password on your BlackBerry handset, try following these. On your BlackBerry handset, go to Options then Memory. Turn off the Memory card support and then Save. Exit then go back to Options and then go to Password. The tab should now be selectable so you can disable the password.

Click Disable and then Save. Exit then go back to Options. Click Memory then turn on the Memory card support and then Save. After this, you will be prompted to enter the password for the very last time. Exit then go back to the main screen and then try it. You should now be able to lock and unlock but not requiring any password.

1. Press the Blackberry key on your keypad. Go to the options.

2. Choose "Screen / keyboard” option in the menu.
