So I have had Photoshop cs2 for over 4 years and it has served me really good, recently causing some problems. It takes longer to load and when finally opens it says "Application not Responding" and closes. It has said to reinstall the programe. I did but it still gives the same error! Can anyone tell me what to do?

I think you are having trouble with Photoshop CS2, re-install is the only solution i think but since that didn't solved your problem, i think its either your PC 's error or because of malware activity.Â
You need to know that an application like Photoshop require huge amount of memory (RAM) and also more processor threads.
Before thinking of PC upgrades. Try my following steps :-Â
1. Download and install latest kaspersky internet security 2012 and then run a full system scan.
2. It may take a while be patient, let it complete and kill all the viruses.
3. Restart your PC after the killing of viruses and then try opening the Photoshop CS 2.
