I recently downloaded SQL Server 2012 release (SQL2012 RC0) free copy. During the installation I got the following error message (WindowsUpdate_80072EE2) at the time when the wizard was checking the latest updates. After this I can’t go ahead with the installation.
My Windows Update application shows the following messages in Control Panel.
Error:
SQL Server Setup could not search for updates through the Windows Update service. You can either check again or click Next to continue.
