Hello,

My laptop's maximum sound has recently gotten low.

At first I thought it was a setting problem but now I do not know is causing this problem.

I need to know whether this is a hardware problem or this is a software problem.

Someone kindly help me getting out of this problematic issue.

1. Go into Control Panel, and hit Sound and Audio Devices. On the Volume Tab search Volumes.

If that doesn't line account the status of your Sound Card from your laptop through My Computer Icon  properties then to Hardware Tab, and select Device Manager then search Video Games controller in the down menu list. Is every component is in working order.

2. A chance there that, your Sound Card Device is too Old and getting problem?

3. Or Software of your Sound Card Device needs to be modernized?

4. Wireswhich are joining your speakers to Motherboard get loose?

5. The Speakers have complete their life,

After doing all above nothing happened then get a new sound card and plug that in to your Laptop, that’s all.

If you have an audio-related problem with your computer, make sure the volume is up to the max then try playing music. Make sure also the volume on the media player is up to the max. If this doesn’t work and the volume or audio is still low, try to uninstall and reinstall the sound card driver.

If you’re on Windows 7, click “Start” then right-click “Computer” and select “Manage”. In “Computer Management” window, select “Device Manager” on the left pane. On the right, expand “Sound, video and game controllers” then right-click your sound card and select “Uninstall”. Restart the computer then install the sound card driver back. If this doesn’t work, update the sound card driver.

Visit the sound card manufacturer’s website then go to “Support” page. Search for your sound card model then download the latest driver for your operating system. If you are using the built-in sound card, it is a sign that the sound card is failing. Disable the built-in sound card in the BIOS and buy a new sound card.

Don’t let the built-in sound card fail completely because you will have a problem with the motherboard.
