When exactly we can expect this Sony Nasne DVR in India as it is launched in Japan. Can anyone list the features and advantages of this Sony Nasne and What is the cost if this device at present.

Sony Nasne DVR in India

Hello Chris,

The Sony's Nasne DVR add-on is expected to launch in Japan soon, but  word about when it will be introduced in other countries is not out just yet.

Sony announced the launch of this device saying that it will be available to its customers in Japan for $ 216, which is equivalent to 16980 yen. The money mentioned includes the tax. The device has got a 500 GB onboard storage.

When you look at it, you may mistake it for a playstation 3, but the Sony's Nasne DVR does not play games. It instead has got a networked recorder as well as a media storage device which has the capability of recording both digital satellite as well as terrestrial TV sources, and after that it will export the programming to playstation 3 and other similar devices.
