Some of my USB ports are not working

My HP laptop have 3 USB ports , yesterday 2 ports just stopped working , only one USB port working fine , please help me to resolve this problem

Well mate, You haven't mentioned the exact model of your laptop neither the operating system installed which would have helped us to identify the problem. Also you need to mention the operating system and its version that you are using because sometimes this issue occurs due to some issue in the OS. As a basic test, you can try restarting your PC which might help. Did you try that? Also try plugging in some other USB stick / USB mouse or any other USB device into the 'non-woking ports'. If it doen't work, then take your laptop to a hard-ware specialist who will look at the board inside for any troubles.

Some of my USB ports are not working

If you try to start the computer and try booting using the USB ports – like putting in a USB optical drive and putting in a bootable disc or maybe using a bootable USB flash drive – then it works, that means the problem may be with your operating system or some software is causing the problem. If the same problem happens even outside the operating system, then most likely the motherboard requires replacement as it has the USB port connections and the USB ports are integrated into the motherboard requiring you to replace the entire assembly as you will not be able to replace the ports individually.
