Setting up of MS PowerPoint for speech presentation

I want to use MS PowerPoint for my speech presentation in my laptop. How will I set it up in advance? I need to set it up in the preliminary hall and load the presentations, however the computer is too slow! I need to make the screen big as well.

If it is possible, is it safe if someone helps to set it up?

I suggest if there are animations in your presentation, you can at least minimize the use of it. An animation slows down presentations. I also suggest when creating/editing your PowerPoint presentation, select images with minimum file sizes.

It also helps speed up your slideshow as the images carries less resources. As for the screen, whatever resolution comes up with it goes with your presentation.

Make sure that your presentation can be presentable when you use a screen projector. Maybe the computer is the real culprit, if it within a company presentation, don’t hesitate to borrow another system for your presentation.

If it is your personal use laptop, I suggest you do some maintenance of your own. Disk Cleanup, defragment disk, set up page file, etc.
