I had installed Roxio which is a CD/DVD burning software on my Mac OS X. But, all attempts to burn CD or a DVD have yielded an error. So far I haven’t been successful at all and am faced with the error shown below. Any suggestions?
Could not record the disc because there is a problem with the source material.

You need to turn off Optimization video option in import dialog. Avoid using any optimization function during editing process. It is very important on how you export data from iMovie. Never use “Export to iDVD” function. Always make an Export to QuickTime! Setup an export using following parameters:
H.264 Codec, Compressor quality: high, Size: 1920 x 1080 (I assume, you source is HD).
Similar, in iPhoto use "Export" function, then choose Slideshows (or Photos, it depends, what do you want to export), and then "Own Export", and then similar parameters as in iMovie (H.264, …). After export you have HD movie, in .mov container. Probably is best possible quality available in iMovie. And now try to import to iDVD. Don't forget iDVD creates DVD, what means SD (not HD).
