I am facing Windows 8.1 install error. The installation got corrupted half way between the procedures. What should I do?
Resolve Windows 8.1 Install Error On Your PC
To resolve this error, follow the given steps:
- Open the command prompt as an administrator.
- In the ‘Command Prompt,’ write the following statements one by one and press enter:
Net stop wuauserv
Net stop bits
3. Â After this restart your device to close all the files in use.
4.  After restarting, go to ‘C:\Windows|SoftwareDistribution’ folder. Open the folder and remove the files and folder present in it.
5. Â After this, type the following commands on the command prompt one by one and press enter,
Net start wuauserv
Net start bits
6. Â Next, go to the Windows Store and restart the installation process.
