Hi,

I’ve got an issue that I want to share, and maybe you can help me resolve it too. I’m trying to install the Edit software and receive the patches from my HD500.

I was using this for several hours perfectly.

Suddenly, I have got an error message, please see the image below.

Error:

There was an error transferring one or more patches.

If this error keeps occurring, quit POD HD500 Edit, restart thePOD HD500 hardware, then run POD HD500 Edit.(Code 8000900c)MIDI device timed out waiting for a response.

Please, I need some help on how can I solve this problem.

Thanks.

I think there is a component of the program that didn’t work or maybe just suddenly stop working after using it for several hours just like what you said.

If this is the first time it happened with your application, try restarting your computer then try it again. Maybe a fresher environment would fix the problem. Try it again afterwards.

If it’s still the same, try following what was stated in the dialog box shown in the image you posted. Close the application then restart your computer again. After booting, run POD HD500 hardware.

After this, run POD HD500 Edit and then see if this fixes the problem.

If it’s still the same, try doing a clean installation of the software to restore it to its default configuration and fix any corrupted files that may have developed in the program. Uninstall POD HD500 then check your computer for any possible errors.

Use a disk utility application to check the system. Install the program again after this and then check if this fixes the problem.
