Hello there,
I have an Active Directory question. I need to identify multiple servers in our system and group them all under one Forest. Would that be possible? What would I need to do to make this happen?
I am eagerly waiting for your answers. Thanks in advance!
Putting multiple servers under one forest
Yes, it is possible that you can run all the servers under 1 forest. But there are certain things that you have to take care of while performing this thing.
-
You must use two different DHCP servers. Usually it is referred to as directing a client computer directly to a NBP.
-
You can either update the IP tables so that the client can connect to the server directly for any kind of exchange of info in between them.
-
You can also try using the options in DHCP like 60 66 67 etc.
-
If you want further information, go and have a look at the following program
