I had to re-install my server (server01) from scratch, but before I re-installed it, I made sure I ran a backup. I did backup all system state, etc. After reinstalling my OS, I run the restore back up file but it's failed.
I need to know how to restore Active directory from a backup after re-installing my server OS.

It is easy to provide solution for restoring the data which you made the backup earlier just reboot the system after performing the re-installation.
The process at the time of restoring back the data you made may not be correct and the process of restoring may not be done successful as some of the files may miss due to that the restoring of backup file may be unsuccessful so the file you restored may be damaged.
If this problem is raised then it's almost difficult to restore the data in which you backed up before the time of installation of server OS.
It is also better to check that as you have installed is genuine or not because the genuine will not have the problems as the trail version may produce some errors.
