In my computer's motherboard, the processor fans support stand is broken down for one side and one side is good.

After this one side fans support stand is broken down my computer is going off sometimes.

There is no any support to reset the fan.

How can I solve this problem?

Hi Mamun,

Let me know you few things:

Processor fan plays an important role in maintaining the health and life of the system processor, it helps in driving away the heat that is generated by the processor while it is running. So it is a very important part, you cannot neglect it if also there is a small damage.

As it is damaged from one side, the processor is not getting the air in the format it wanted and so it is getting overheated and you go off. You should change the processor fan and fit a new one, this will solve your problem.

Regards,

krantz

Hello Mamun01717,

I'm speaking now based on my own experienced. I bought a new ECS motherboard that supports socket LGA777 processor. While installing my old lga777 CPU cooler fan (4 pins), I accidentally break one of the pins that supports the cooler to the motherboard. I turned on the CPU, in my shock, it turned off just a few minutes after I turned it on. I repeatedly turn on the CPU but still it automatically turns off.

I thought I bought a defective motherboard so I phone the person who sell me the motherboard. But he told me it is not in good-running condition. I go to a computer cafe to search the problem that I'm encountering. BINGO! I found out that the broken pin of the CPU cooler has anything to do with it. I bought a new CPU cooler and installed it carefully.

Until now I'm not experiencing any automatically turning off.

Hope this helps you Mamun01717.
