  1. Download and unzip the file Android USB driver for Windows. Then enable debugging on your phone. (Settings > Applications > Development > USB debugging).
  2. Unplug all removable devices including the Android phone.
  3. Find "Device Manager" under “Control Panel".
  4. Select “USB Controllers".
  5. Select “USB Mass Storage Device:.
  6. Select “Uninstall Driver”.
  7. Close window. In Device Manager, "Android Phone USB device” will appear. If not, select Action.
  8. Click on the "Android Phone USB device".
  9. Select "Browse my computer to driver software".
  10. You now have to browse through the file “Android USB driver for Windows” that you have unzipped and select the corresponding folder for systems.
