Good evening everybody,

I contain more than 10,000 video files. Most of the files are in .flv format files. All these videos are played perfectly before.

At the time of formatting my system, I got backup them in DVDs. Now, when I tried to play them, some videos played, but don't support sound system. Some videos not played completely.

  • You don't have necessary codec to play.

Please Click "Find Codec" button to the right side.

Codec Finder will help you to install Codec.

  • If Codec Finder cannot find the appropriate codec, check your file first. It may be damaged or fake file.

Your most of the videos are .flv formatted. So you have to install a software that supports the .flv formatted file. You can install the VLC media player. This media player can support .flv supported videos. Try to install the updated version of VLC media player.

You can download the VLC (video LAN converter) media player. It can support all kind of video format. Or, If you want to use your software GOM then you have to use the updated version . Try to download the upgraded version of the GOM software. By doing this your problem might be solved.

Download the VLC player from this site: https://vlc-media-player.en.softonic.com/

Hi John,

At the time that you format your system that’s the problem started. Because first of all when you download all your videos in your system some of the files were saved by the unformatted form of your system. So here’s what I pointed out. The video was in compatible with your system so when you did a format all of the compatibility was changed in your system.

Here is the solution in your problem. Put it back the old version that you format in your system in this action you will recover all the formatted in your system. Or install some of your old application in your formatted files but the same with your old files. Or you can try convert all your videos with the compatible in your system. This would help.

Thanks,
