Hello Everyone.

I wish someone could help me with this error I am getting when emailing photos using Picasa. I am trying to email photos using Google mail and I get a message that says this account is not enabled. I try opening the web page to resolve the issue and tried these steps to fix the problem: I checked my internet connectivity and having found no issues there, tried selecting the photo from and desktop and using ‘Send To Mail Recipient’ tried mailing the photo. This did not succeed. I attempted disabling my firewall temporarily and then mailing again. This too didn’t work. I had a go at clearing my cache and cookies by turning on private browsing in Google Chrome. Now this proved useless too. And I can’t find what else to do. Did anyone else face a similar problem? Could you fix the issue? If so, please share your fix with me. Thanks a lot for helping me.

Error:

This account is not enabled for google photos.

whould you like to open a web page that may help resolve the problem?

Remember Picasa is a downloadable application so other softwares running in your computer may interfere with your email settings of Picasa. Do the following steps:-

1.   Check whether you can email images without using Picasa. If not then your gmail may be having some technical issues.

2.   If you skip a Google Account with a missing ‘name field’ i.e. ( you may blanked out your ‘last name’ in the field box) then you will not able to login using your current Picasa build.

3.   Upgrade to the latest version of Picasa which contains fixes for many problems.

4.   Sometimes firewall may block your works. Configure you firewall settings and add Picasa to your firewall exception list.

5.   Check with your Picasa network settings.

6.   Check that your browser is on to allow cookies.
