So when I open up a presentation of mine in Powerpoint 2010 it says that it has found a problem with the content and asks if I want to repair the problem. When I hit repair Powerpoint stops responding ! What should I do ?

I have read your concern regarding Microsoft PowerPoint 2010. Too bad for you to receive such kind of problem regarding this program because this is the latest version of Microsoft Office.
The first thing for you to do which entails with this issue is to check the file format. To check, “Open File Location” once found, “Right Click” the file then select “Properties.” You will see there what format of PowerPoint you have saved. It can be either of the following shown in the picture below. File format matters most when you open a different version of a program.
The next step is to scan your system for viruses since your problem connects with file corruption issue. When viruses were found, remove them from your system so that it may not harm other files anymore. Then try to open your file to check whether it is fixed or not. If not, it is already corrupted by a virus which needs to be removed and can no longer be used.
