Outlook unable to connect to Exchange Server

Hi,

I can connect successfully to the server but when I opened MS Outlook and went to Microsoft Exchange server I am getting the "NAME COULD NOT BE RESOLVED.THE ACTION COULD NOT BE COMPLETED." The correct name and username are both there.

Test results show no error. It's very tricky, and you have no idea how much time I spent on this trying to get it resolved. Also, my firewall is off so that would not be an issue I think.

I am not knowledgeable with this issue so I badly need your help. Hope to get a good answer for this.

In MS Outlook if you have already configured your account and it was running and now it is giving problem is a different case. Any how I will tell you here how to configure your account with MS Outlook. 

GO to your MS Outlook and tools and then click email accounts. Click next and choose what type of account you want to configure.

Lets say i choose IMAP, now enter you user password and in IMAP configuration type like this, if you have say g-mail account type IMAP.gmail.com same with SMTP.

Now next step is Click more Setting and on out going server check "MY out going server use.." Now it is a very important part i am going to tell you now, go to advance menu and check your Server port names they are different in all mail cases in your email type check it. And also check the both options for SSL given.
