Am I able to use Outlook express with SQL mail? Also, what mail clients are able to use with SQL Mail?

SQL mail allows SQL server for sending and receiving emails by using both SQL Mail and SQLAgentMail.  It can able to connect with Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Windows NT Mail, or a Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3) server. So, if you want to use SQL mail with Outlook express, absolutely you will have done it.

You can use this mail client with your SQL mail server like MS Outlook express 97 or 98. Also you can use it’s version 2000 or any of you want. Basically it depend on your version of SQL mail server. For more about to learn visit here- http://support.microsoft.com/kb/311231
