OpenERP Client-Web server is connected to a remote OpenERP server

Hello,

Currently my OpenERP Client-Web server is connected to a remote OpenERP server. When I intend to export all Base Object Models BOMs, an error appears and please find below screenshot for your reference. However, same operation in Local database could be applied to the web client; the operation is working properly while the remote production database does not work.

Could any expert have some suggestions to solve this? Thanks in advance.

Error server:

404 – File not found or repertoire.
The resource you find has been can be deleted, renamed or temporarily unavailable.

Hi there William J Leibowitz,

Error 404 stands for 'File or directory not found' on the server.

You could get this error due to several reasons.

Check if your server is working. If it'0s down, you will need to restart it or if you don't have access to that option wait until it's restarted in order to access the file.

Use the FTP manager and check the path you are trying to reach. Maybe you just have some typos in your path or you have to skip 'www' part of the link.

Another thing to do is to check permissions and owners of the files you are trying to download. They should all be readable and with common user assigned.
