Every time I watch the videos using Firefox, it stops buffering the video randomly and then I checked my network usage with task manager and my bandwidth usage was dropped into 0%. This is happening to me every time I watch the videos. I am using Firefox 25. I tried with Google chrome also but the result was the same.

Hi Caroline J Tritt,

The best solution for your issue would be to repair or optimize the internet settings. Once you download the Computer Optimizer will speed up everything on your computer system including your web browser. It will fasten your web surfing, downloading, video playback and anything you do with your optimized internet connection. It also improves the life of the system as in robust stability by PC protection and Internet errors that slow down the performance of the system.

There are five ways in which you can optimize your internet settings:

  • Turn off Hardware acceleration in flash Videos. Right click on the Video and select settings and then uncheck the Enable Hardware acceleration
  • Check and recheck your Flash version and video card reader Make sure that you have the latest updates of the Adobe flash Player installed for your web browser.
  • Minimize the video quality.
  • Eradicate the Video streaming meaning to say during the streaming stops any other internet programs running on the PC. Disconnect gaming box.
  • Stream videos over wireless connection. This means try to stream video streaming on a wireless connection instead of a wired connection.
