Hello, I have encountered an error while using my antivirus NOD32. This error pops up: “Undocumented Serious Error (0x101a)” then the icon becomes red. It looked to me that my antivirus is already expired. I downloaded it with a trial version.
This error would appear every time I tried to update the antivirus. I want to stay with NOD32, so please suggest me anything to get this fixed. Thanks a lot.

Hi,

You have downloaded a trial version of NOD32 & now you are facing error when you use it. You said icon become red which means the antivirus is out of date or not updated.

You have downloaded a trial version of its which means they give permission you to use the antivirus for one month only. If you have already completed one month then it will become red & will not be updated.

But if you have downloaded it recently & not yet used then you can follow the instruction to solve your problem:

** Uninstall the NOD32 which is previously installed by you.

** Delete all directory file of NOD32 from program files folder of Local disk C. Don't delete the "program files" folder, just delete ESET NOD32 folder.

**Restart your computer.

**Re-install your NOD32

** Then if the existence of a third party antivirus product is detected then cancel the installation process.

Here is a link of uninstaller of conflicting antivirus remover. https://www.eset.com/sg/download-home/

From this link you uninstall the conflicting third party antivirus, the restart your computer & install your NOD32 again. I hope your problem will solve.

Thank you.
