I am using Windows Vista OS with a shared Outlook 2007 Calendar. I recently updated my desktop software, which is Curve 8330. During the update, the process hanged for a few seconds and then continued. By the end of it, I got an error message with the figures: ‘0x83860028’. The calendar doesn’t sync at all. The error should be due to a bad bit of data or software issue.
Please help me figure this problem out. Thank you!
My shared Outlook 2007 Calendar doesn’t work on Curve 8330
When you updated your desktop software, your previously installed MS Outlook might have crashed because of some missing parts. Try doing the following and see if it will work:
1. Go to the Desktop Software of your Blackberry.
2. Go to Organizer.
3. Click Reset Settings.
4. Click Configure Settings.
5. After doing so, please check all the boxes that are needed or important.
6. Synchronize it.
After you do all of this, all of your MS Outlook data will be rewritten into your phone. I hope this will solve your problem. You can also try some compatible calendars for your Blackberry phone. You can use Google Calendar if you wish, just look it up in the application Google Sync.
