My problem is with initializing iTunes on my PC.
I am getting an error message: Error-2096: quick time failed to initialize.
I have reinstalled both iTunes and QuickTime removing them completely, but getting the same message again.
Help me please; how can I fix the problem.

Hello Ney,
To resolve that issue, you will have to turn off Compatibility Mode for QuickTime use the following procedure:

Right click on the QuickTimePlayer application. You can find it in the following location on your computer: C:Program FilesQuickTime

And then choose Properties from the shortcut menu.

After that go to the Properties window, and then click on the Compatibility tab

You will need to deselect all checkboxes that have been currently selected in the Compatibility tab.

And then Click Apply.

After that close the Properties window.
After you have done the above you should not get the error.
