If you are using KMPlayer as alternative media player for Windows Media Player, try to uninstall and reinstall if you keep receiving an error. Download the free version of Revo Uninstaller and install it. Once installed, start Revo Uninstaller then select KMPlayer among the applications and click “Uninstall”. Follow the normal uninstall process.

When uninstall is complete, click “Scan” to scan your computer for any leftover files and delete everything it finds. This removes everything the program created on your computer. When it is finished, exit Revo Uninstaller then install KMPlayer back. You can also just download the latest KMPlayer if you haven’t updated yet.

If this doesn’t work, try using a different media player like this one I’m using: MPlayer for Windows. Try also using VLC media player.
