Among the answers, which would be the best solution if I have a lot of MS Office documents that has an “open” password? Is it possible for me to decrypt my document without an internet access and does it send the document in the server?

You can remove the passwords that you have set on the ms word documents especially if you want to send them via email so that the receiver will not be inconvenienced. What you will need to do is the following:

  • You will open the ms word document that has the password.
  • Once the document is opened, you will go to the ms word menu and click on file.
  • Next you will choose the Save As option, and then choose word 97-2003 document.
  • In the window that opens, you will need to click on Tools, and then click General Options.
  • You will then remove all the passwords that you have set for that document and then save the changes.
