Hey Ashley,

MS is milli seconds, so 546ms is the time (round trip) it took speedtest.net  to ping the host destination (test server).

The letters “ms” in the “546ms” you got after doing the speed test stands for milliseconds.

To know how fast the milliseconds are, 1 second of a time is equivalent to 1,000 milliseconds. That’s how fast it is.

To calculate how many milliseconds it is in 1 minute, you simply have to multiply 60 seconds by 1,000 milliseconds.

And that will give you 60,000 milliseconds.

Additionally, the letters “Mbps” in the download result you achieved on the speed test stands for megabits per second. This is a lot faster compared to “Kbps” or kilobits per second. Mega means million while kilo means thousand.
