Good day! I need Microsoft application experts. I hope the pasting text from other applications to merged cells improved by Microsoft. They need to work on this.

You can combine different cells in Microsoft Word including row and columns. I guess you are not familiar on this program or you just a beginners using this. Try to use old Microsoft Programs, because it's not complicated and user friendly . You can ask questions on Microsoft HELP of you have some issues. Merging and spitting cells are commonly problems in the beginners you just familiarize on it.

This is actually limited by the Excel application so as to avoid and prevent complications with the formulas and with how the cells are being referred to by the program. Some copied information, when pasted into cells, may not be able to display properly or may not be understood by the program correctly because of the merged cells. Formulas refer to cells individually, merged cells are a collection of cell, if the copied information results to pasting the data to more than one cell including the merged cells, then the entirely of the sheet may have its formulas jumbled and not work properly. This is mainly a preventive measure to avoid corruption of the functions in the sheet.
