Measures needed to recover from crashing of server

What are the measures that I need to take in recovering from the crashing of a server, without losing the consistency of the AFS with stateful distributed file system? Please help.

Measures needed to recover from crashing of server

Hello Marissa,

You will need to get the hard drive from the system that the data that you were using on the server and back them up on another server that you must have designated for backup up purposes.

Then you will need to troubleshoot what kind of problem led to the crashing of your server. Could it be due to motherboard failure or any other reason? You will need to fix the error, if it is a hardware problem you may need to replace the hardware device that is affected.

Then check if there is any data that is missing and use data recovery software to retrieve back when the server is up and running again.
