Hi there,

While I was working in Macrium Reflect this error appeared and closed the program. Is for the first time when this kind of error appears. Sometimes it appears but sometimes don’t and I would like to get rid of this. Any solution ? Is this error affecting my PC in a way ?

Thank you experts !

I guess this is again a permission issue which normally happens if you are using Windows Vista and later operating systems. Try restarting Macrium Reflect to see if the error appears again. If it doesn’t change, try starting the program as administrator. Right-click Macrium Reflect then point to “Run as” then select Administrator. See if this works.

If it works, try setting the program to always start as administrator. Right-click Macrium Reflect then select Properties. Select Compatibility tab then check “Run this program as an administrator” under “Privilege level” and then click OK. If the problem continues, try reinstalling the application. Uninstall Macrium Reflect then click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools then select Disk Cleanup.

Select drive C then click OK. Check Setup Log Files and “Temporary files”, click OK then click Delete Files. Restart the computer then install Macrium Reflect. See if it works. Also, if you are using an old version, download and install the latest version, Macrium Reflect 5.3.7149. It requires Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1 both x86 and x64.
