Linux Mint 15 mount error

Hi there,

I recently upgraded from Linux Mint 15 to Ubuntu 13.10. I have a PC with a shared folder created using Windows Groups. But now that I upgraded to Ubuntu 13.10 I have this Mount Error. Can anyone help me to fix this ? Why I have this ?

Hi Christopher,

The file cannot be mounted because the restriction of the file depends in the person who created the file. Check the properties of the file. Right-click to the device. Select properties. In the security tab, check if all the permissions for the system is allowed. If not click to the system under group or user names choices then click edit button and finally check the box of full control. Click ok and apply then exit the properties. You should be able to mount the device now.
