I recently bought a laptop. Problem is, it doesn't connect to my WIFI network. For some reasons, it just appears that "Connection Failed" and I couldn't even get it to ask for my WEP key.

Any advise?

HI.

WI/Fi Networks are hard to work with , so I suggest you do the following:
1. Try restarting your router a couple of  times, and try reconnecting to your network.
2. Refer to Windows Help and Support to resolve the issue.

Try everything, check your router, re-install the driver for it, check your Access Point, and what is also important, check for surrounding WI/FI networks. It`s a very sensitive process, so the network can often cover them self and cause you trouble.

Check the network Adapter for trouble, then check the Access point and all the segments of the wireless connectivity.
If you restart the router, make sure all the lights are off and wait 10 Sec until you plug it back in.

Hope this helps.
