Hello.  I just installed Kaspersky  Antivirus 8.0 for Linux File Server.  When I launch Kaspersky, it just shows a black screen.  Could this be a memory issue?  I have an AMD Sempron processor, 1 GB RAM and I use Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5 Server.

Hello Bryant,

Did you try to uninstall and reinstall the anti-virus software? If not, please do so and please make sure that you only have one anti-virus software on your computer. I hope this resolves your issue. Here are the Kaspersky anti-virus 8.0 system requirements for a server. Please hit us back if the problem persists.

Sincerely,

Luz M Terry
