While trying to install a second hand copy of Pinnacle Studio 11, I got the message stating that installation cannot be continued as Windows XP Sp2 is missing. But my Windows XP Professional computer has all the recent updates installed including SP2 and SP3. It has Intel P4 processor with 2 Gb RAM and 160 Gb HD.

How can I get the software successfully installed?

Can anyone help me?

There is some thing missing in your computer and that's why the installation is not working there can be many reasons for this problem. Some problems i can discuss here may be as:

  • Check you system requirements.
  • Make sure you have the actual copy of software you need to install.
  • Check all the system and make it virus free.
  • Make sure there is no virus in your computer and if you find any then try to solve it first.
  • Check your program on another computer and make sure that program is running perfectly.
  • Check the graphic card memory and other things like this to make sure that you have all the settings.
  • Install the program by going to CONTROL panel and add/remove programs.

Once you have checked all of these you will be able to solve your problem.
