When I want to watch a streaming movie, I select a player divx hd free on the net. But when I insert the link of the video, nothing happens … However I installed the plugins it requires … Even once (all the time now …) the player screen does not appear … Why?

Try to reinstall your DivX. Make sure all components are removed. Install Divx, the complete installation so that you won't have any problems.
Visit site like stagevu.com, stage6.com and other Divx streaming site to see if your DivX is surely working properly.
If you are sure you installed the DivX and player shows up, your IPS might be the problem. Viewing DivX movies require fast internet connection. If player screen doesn't appear. Wait for a little longer. You can view DivX movies using slow internet connection but you will have a hard time waiting for it to buffer. I recommend you to download it rather streaming it.

Since you want to stream videos i recommend you to install Microsoft Silverlight and also i recommend you to view this streaming site with top 25 but if you insist this is the solution for that
