Hi,

I am getting the following error message when I try to open the disk in DVD Shrink. I have got a homemade DVD+R dual layer disc I wanted to put onto a DVD-R single layer. How can I resolve this issue? Any idea would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.

DVD Shrink 3.2

DVD Shrink encountered an error and cannot continue.

Failed to open file “C:Documents and SettingsGavDesktopVIDEO_TSVTS_01_0.IFO”

Overlapped I/O operation is in progress.

Hi there Thomas H Linquist,

The first thing to do when you get this message is to check if your file is OK. It may be skipped during the ripping or damaged. The easiest way to find out if the file is OK is to run it using any of the media viewer you have installed on your computer.
If something's wrong with the file, you can rerip it using the same software you used before.

Another thing to do is to turn off the Overlapped I/O setting in your DVD Shrink settings. To do that, run the DVD Shrink and open Settings. Under the File I/O tab you will find the setting you are looking for. Make sure that the box next to 'Enable overlapped I/O' is unchecked and confirm the changes.

Best regards,
Drake Vivian
