Is it possible to simultaneously load images from multiple locations? I am making a picture gallery. My files are saved on my hard drive and in my camera memory card.

Hallo Bradley,
For sure you can load images from different location to your gallery. But to make the whole process organized, I will suggest that you create a folder and save there all the pictures that you want to use in the gallery because I am sure you will not need to use all the pictures but some selected few.
In the gallery you can then organize the pictures using a picture editing tool, for which I will recommend Picasa. Picasa displays the image in good resolution, it has the good slideshow options and it enables you to save quite a reasonably large amount of pictures. So you can download it and install it.
