How to setup mobile email client ( POP/SMTP).

I would like to get some help. I want to send and receive emails using my Nokia E63. But I'm unable to set up the email function that I've found on my phone. I have two email accounts; one is hotmail, the other is from my workplace.

I tried repeatedly to set up hotmail account using these info :

* Incoming POP : pop3.live.com, Port : 995

* Outgoing SMTP: smtp.live.com, Port: 25

* Both SSL is ON

But every time it says server not found. Please help me.

Hotmail email server information looks correct in your posting. However, you've mention that there are 2 email accounts to be set-up : one is Hotmail and the other from your workplace.

Are they both Hotmail accounts? And which email is set as default?

These are the settings that needs to be corrected. You might be using the workplace's email address as default and the settings for incoming and outgoing is configured on that email address.

The settings for pop/SMTP will be different from Hotmail's account if the other email address is not using the same domain.

Contact your IT department and ask what incoming settings should be set in your workplace's email address. Contact your phone provider and or Internet service provider to ask the settings for SMTP.
