Hello,

How to set android unmute galaxy s3? The default set up of my galaxy s3 android mobile phone is on mute or silent mode. When somebody is texting it will just vibrate, I want to set and change it with tone. How will I be able to do it?

Hi Kimberly!

There different ways to disable (and enable) Silent Mode in your phone.

  1. Press on the power button for a few seconds until Device options appear. Press on Silent Mode and then press on OK.
  2. You can also press the Volume Up bottom to turn off Silent Mode (Volume down to turn on Silent Mode) and set it to the message and ring volume you want.
  3. Another method is by pressing and holding on the pound key (#) from the phone dial pad.
  4. Last is by dragging the notification bar down, select Sound and uncheck Silent Mode.
