How to recover files in paint? I am creating some anime drawing using paint software in my windows 7 operating system computer desktop. I noticed that the files that I saved in jpeg form was not present in my desktop. How can I retrieve those files by the way?

Hi! There is no way to recover file that isn't saved but If your'e sure that you saved the files and yet you can't find it on your desktop. In the first place maybe it wasn't saved at your Desktop Drive at all. You might replaced the file.Try searching it on Downloads Drive. Or You can try  using software that can recover corrupted/deleted files. It can help you to retrieved your Data. PC Inspector Recovery is one of the example software that recover files.
Hello Thomas. I also use a Windows 7 operating system and I also use paint. This is something that happens a lot even with other programs.
1. When saving those files, you must have used a name to save the file. Also, you must have saved it in a location windows provided. The default location is the folder "Pictures" in your Library. Go to library>pictures to see the files. You can search for the file here.
2. If you know the name of the file, click on the start menu (or press the button with the windows logo on it). The start menu pops up. Enter the name of the file in the search bar and windows will search and give you files with that name. You should be able to find your file there.

First you have to identify where exactly you saved that jpeg file. You can look in Picture folder or in Documents if it’s not in the desktop icons.
And because you already saved it as you said, it is still in your computer.
Try also looking at your recycle bin if you think it has been deleted.
Or if you can’t find it there, since you are using windows 7, just click the start menu and type the name of your file in the search bar and it will show you the file location.

There is no direct ways my friends have suggested that check recycle bin I wish you can restore them. If these files are not there then use some recovery software I hope you can get these files only by some recovery software.
