How to make indoor light for Google sketchup8

I would like to create an indoor light effect in a house model that I'm making.  I'm using Google sketchup8 on windows 7.  Most models that I created looks unrealistic because it does not have lighting effects.  How can I make an indoor light for google sketchup8?

Here you have tricks of how to decrease the darkness of the shadows and how to create an impossible ceiling. For using some adjust and shadow settings you have two methods there on the website and if that is not good for you then you have alternative one. I hope this will help!
