As new graphic designer, I suggest that you use design application that are user-friendly. Try first to follow some easy and basic tutorial that can be search thru internet.
There is no big secret in creating emoticons for blogtv just be creative yourself and design original ones. Different kinds of emoticons required different file formats. Still or non-moving emoticons should be in png format, while moving emoticons must be created in swf formats. Image resolution should be between 18-20 pixels only.
